Paragliding from Kanin
Two high cable-car launches on the Kanin plateau above Bovec
Currently unavailable. The Kanin cable car is closed for renovation until 2029. With the gondola out of service the launches up here can't be reached, so flights from Kanin are paused for now. We'll reopen this site as soon as the lift is running again.
Kanin is the high plateau above Bovec, the only Slovenian ski area also reached from Italy, rising into the Julian Alps on the border. Two launches sit on the cable-car line: the C station at 1,634 m and the D station at 2,113 m.
From the top station the flight drops more than 1,600 metres to the valley near Bovec, one of the longest tandem descents in the region.
